​A Grimm Night for Hans Christian Anderson
The pens are sharp, but the switchblades are sharper!
In the literary underworld, refined 'ex-cobbler' Hans Christian Andersen faces a hostile takeover by the Brothers Grimm — hardened, black-suited mobsters seeking territorial control. To avoid a one-way trip to the local forest bog, Andersen proposes a storytelling wager.
However, the characters are tired of being pawns. In a comedic takeover by tropes, the Little Mermaid tries to fire her agent, the Elves go on strike for better pay, the Ugly Duckling attacks like a swan, and the Emperor prepares for a revealing televised makeover. Leading a rebellion of these and other famous characters, is the bedazzling, glitter-clad Frog Prince, Sir Croakalot.
In this comedic battle of tropes v authors, one thing is certain: Happily Ever After is under new management.
